What is the level of biking fitness required for the bike tours?

We recommend our mountain biking tours to anyone who rides at least 20km each week, or is in good fitness condition.
A typical day tour takes us through 25km to 45km of trails, with cumulative vertical climb of 500 to 1,000 meters.  We ride mostly off-road non-technical trails,
but in some areas, the steep terrain forces us onto paved countryside roads.  In some of our tours, an accompanying vehicle will enable optional hopping over
challenging uphill sections.

Are the bike tours suitable for children?

Our standard scheduled groups are for age 16 and older. However, on our private mountain biking tours, we are happy to host families with younger children.
The kids will enjoy the sea adventure, and provided they have cycling experience and stamina they are welcome to join the rides.

How do I transport my bike?

Most riders bring their personal mountain bikes with them. For air travel the bikes are packed in cardboard boxes (available at bike shops), or in specialized bike
travel packs.  Please advise your airline that you will have bike luggage, in few cases they will ask for a nominal extra fee (up to €40).

Can I rent the bike for the tour?

Upon request, we can arrange on-board mountain bike rental, please send us a request here.

Are cabins air conditioned?

Our vessels are equipped with air conditioning in all public areas and private cabins. Air conditioning while docking is provided by shore electricity.
When anchoring on isolated bays, the A/C is powered by on-board generators, limited to six hours of operation
Need to Verify with KristinaVerified-Indeed 6 hours. - Noa per day. Air conditioning is typically required only
during peak hot hours in mid-summer.

What food is served?

Other than the Captain, the key crew member is our Chef.  An energy rich breakfast is served for the riders, while the rest may take their time with a longer meal.
During the ride you are encouraged to bring your own energy snacks and we will complement these with local nuts and fruits. After the ride our chef and ship
crew will serve us with a rich lunch with diversity local and international food, seafood or grilled barbecue.  We believe the quality food is key for your unforgettable
vacation.

What drinks are served?

During meals you will be served with soft drinks, free of charge. During breakfast you will be served coffee, tea and orange juice as well.
You can also order cool non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks during the day from the boat’s bar and the amount due will be paid to the captain on the last evening of
the trip.

What is the recommended tipping?

We like to reward individuals who render exceptional service to our groups, both on-board and off the boat. In our experience, it is best to conduct that courtesy in
a group fashion. We therefore create a tipping pool for each tour, by collecting €35 per person on the 1st day of the tour. In case there are funds left in that pool
we use it towards unexpected expenses and surprises.

What utilities are available on board?

Water and 220v Electricity Plugs are available in all cabins. The electricity is fed from the harbor or from on board generators that operate several hours a day.
During sleep hours we turn off the generator for full tranquility. Electricity plugs are ordinary (see picture)

Each cabin is equipped with a toilet and shower, and like any hotel we clean the cabins daily.

to be verified with Kristina.VerifiedUnder normal use, water tanks are large enough to provide sufficient cold and warm water for washing and showering for everyone.

Will I have phone and Internet Services?

There is GSM coverage in most places we sail through.

We usually obtain WiFi service from dock-side cafe and restaurants. In Croatia  pre-paid data services for phone or PC may also be purchased.

Is it possible to sleep on deck?

Many of our guests enjoy sleeping under the stars on one of the decks. If you plan to do so, we recommend bringing your own sleeping bags with you.

How many tour guides will be with us?

Each tour is led by a professional biking tour guide. In addition, there is an assistant guide at the tail of the group to provide quick help if there is any problem.

What activity is offered for the non-riders?

Our daily programs offer visits in local villages, markets, historic sites, natural landmarks and other attractions as listed in the tour plan. However, feel free to
spend the day taking pictures, swimming, and getting to know your old and new friends on board.

How I deal with technical problems with my bike?

During the mountain biking rides, our guides carry tools for small repairs and adjustments and we recommend you do the same. On-board the ship we have a
more extensive set of tools and standard spare parts. Bike shops will not be in our vicinity, we therefore recommend that you bring along spares for any
non-standard breakable bike parts.

What requirements are there for travel into my destination country?

Please find out what VISA and other requirements may apply for traveling to our destinations according to your country’s Foreign Ministry internet web site.
The following link provides general information on all countries. We assume no responsibility over its correctness.

What kind of clothing do I need for the trip?

Bike clothing, shoes, helmet sunglasses and gloves are compulsory for all riders. Optional protective gear (hands, legs) is required only for those seeking
technical challenges.

On the boat, leisure dress like t-shirts and shorts and swim gear are sufficient for all occasions. For the cool of the evenings, a long-sleeved jumper or
sweatshirt is advised. Also, a wind and waterproof jacket may be useful occasionally. Since cabin space is limited, we recommend you pack your clothing in a
duffle bag rather than a hard-shell suitcase which may be hard to stow. One member of the crew will always be on duty on board, but we advise you to leave your
valuables at home. We provide some snorkeling gear so you can enjoy the deep blue sea scenery. Feel free to also bring your own snorkeling or other water gear.
